Based on the Great War Australian issue 303, the standard issue firearm to military of the Commonwealth in the First and Second World Wars(and beyond). This rifle is very much a part of Australian Military history and one could say has defended our way of life.

Q: Does the toy 303 take batteries/make sound?

A: No, although this model does have movable parts (trigger, bolt) it does not need batteries and doesn’t have inbuilt sound effects.

Q: Is this legal in Australia?

A: Yes – Although state laws differ, this is a toy and ACTUAL product will have red/orange safety features built into the lookalike barrel and trigger for public safety.

Q: Won’t Toy guns make my children violent and teach them that shooting is OK?

A: Believe it or not, theres been a number of studies commissioned and theres absolutely no correlation between playing with toy weapons in childhood and aggression in adulthood.
